We've had season tickets for about 10 years - drive up for all home games from
LV. Always a blast. We travel to several away games. BYU football is our time. We love the travel, the atmosphere, and mostly the time we share with our children. BYU is a special place to us. It is where my wife and I met. My alma mater, where I graduated also from law school. We shared many great moments at LES. My wife is a BYU sports nut. I married the most awesome woman. She is as into BYU as I am. She is on CB, has a handle but never posts. Reads it every day. My wife doesn't like Utah. Refuses to go to a game at RES. She has Max Hall like feelings when she sees the color red.

Our kids share our passion, just not as much. BYU football is our family happy place. I don't care about prices falling before games. I don't pay any attention to that stuff. I bought my tickets when I bought them. I always buy extra tickets to make sure we have enough for our kids and other extended family. Most of our nieces and nephews don't really care much about BYU football. We brought a nephew to the Houston game who is a sophomore RM, and it was his first BYU football game. We are a bit of an anomaly. My parents think we are half crazy. They would never chase after a team/sport like we do. Some families buy season passes to Disneyland and go several times a year. Good for them. Our Disneyland is BYU football games, where "magic [really] happens."
