Californians are more snooty and arrogant. Often times a God less, I do whatever I want kind of people... For that I dislike Californians more.

*Obviously there are good God fearing people in Cali but the state does have an extremely Wordly culture generally speaking.

Texans are generally good people but they find too many opportunities to let you know where they are from. They get Texas tattoo's, they wear Texas clothing and they have obnoxious bumper stickers like "don't mess with Texas" and "Native Texan" etc... Better people, just more annoying. Sorta like a cousin Eddie kind of way.
