little surprising to me. Either that or they have amnesia. Utah 2008 needed a lot of luck to go undefeated and now this 2014 BYU team is "How could you not think they were going undefeated?" I realize you're just playing the expectations game so that IF BYU goes undefeated you can just say, Of course they did, everyone thought they would with that schedule.

Utah had a 2-pt victory against a 3 win Michigan team (that also lost to a 3-win Toledo team)
Utah had a 3-pt victory against a 4 win New Mexico team
Utah needed a game winning touchdown in the final minute to beat Air Force
Utah beat Oregon St. by 3 needing a Mike Riley coaching blunder in order to win.
Utah beat a very good TCU team with another touchdown in the final minute (after TCU's kicker kept choking on short FGs)

I am not saying 2008 Utah was a bad team. They were awesome and there is something to be said about making your own luck, but that is 5 of their 12 regular season games where they were in precarious situations and one horrible call by an official or one great play by the opposing team and they could have lost.

So when you say "How could you not think BYU is going undefeated?" that says to me that you either are not knowledgeable about football or you think BYU 2014 is vastly superior to Utah 2008.
