For the record, I abhor and detest the BSU blue turf. To me it is gimmicky and conveys the image of a rinky dink program that is doing whatever crazy thing they can to draw attention to themselves. But the attention they get for the blue turf is not positive. EVERYONE knows BSU has smurf turf, and EVERYONE (except BSU fans who passionately defend it) believes it's ridiculous, and a sign of a lower-tier program basically yelling, "Hey look at me! I'm important! I'm big-time! I've got a cool blue field! I can't help it that I'm from Idaho!"

Drives me crazy. Plus, I have a really hard time watching a game on TV played at Boise. I truly believe the NCAA should outlaw turf that's any color other than the color of natural grass. By the way, I hate the Eastern Washington red turf as well.
