Dumb! You can be passionate without swearing. My brother once told off

his whole unit in the national guard without a single swear word, after his ranking officer or whoever, used a bunch of swear words to describe to him what he should tell the guys he was talking to. The officer dude was pretty impressed how he was so forceful without swearing.
