I have read that a team/conf receives 4 million for a NY6 appearance and 6 million for a playoff game appearance on top of the standard 50 million per p5 conference and 18 million per G5 conference and 600,000 per independent team that everybody gets no matter what. However I'm uncertain about how this 13.75 million fits into the equation that this article is discussing. Is there additional money BYU would receive in the fiesta bowl on top of the 4 million that is from the Bowl and not the "playoff pay out"?

Also, it seems a sun belt team is receiving more standard revenue from the playoffs than us... am I seeing that correctly? 18 million/11 members = 1.6 million
