I used it for that same purpose and it really helped alot to know which days to go to which parks. For example there was a hard ticket event at magic kingdom one day that caused the park to close at 7 and I thought I would never want to go that day because I would lose 3 hours of park time but according to the calendar it said go for sure and so I did and it was easily the most empty day I had ever seen.
