because he certanly did not explicitly say anything close to how you are interpreting it. Also, it seems a little illogical to me that he would mean what you're saying because if he thinks BYU coaches are contacting him too much right now, then just see what happens if they actually say he's still looking. Why try to open that door a little more? They'd get even more attention, not just from BYU but from every other school imaginable.
