Technically not true. If they ran 97 yards backwards and were tackled in the
end zone, I believe the defense would be rewarded 1 point. That would be a crazy play though. Maybe if they block the 1 point conversion and run it back but drop the football before the end zone and the kicking team recovers at the 1 and then runs back into the end zone?
