Not saying he isn't a P5 koolaid drinker, but what he is saying is that when you are in a P5 conference you usually always have a few up teams and a few down teams. When you have to schedule less P5 you are less likely to catch those teams on their up years. Even scheduling teams like perennial power Texas isn't a guarantee, but if you are in a P5 conference you are more likely to have another team up while that team is down to balance it out. Not saying I even agree with that, but its a different message than you are portraying...
