but we aren't. Pass defense needs a lot of work. Bronco and Howell need to figure out how to blitz more effectively. Still can't believe we gave up two drives of 75 yards or greater to the backup QB. Defense was tired, but game should not have been that close. Also, the last 2 weeks BYU has been really poor at closing out games. A win is a win but BYU could have won with "style" the last 2 weeks but didn't. This game easily could have finished 48-26 instead of 41-33. Way too many 3rd and long conversions.

I would like to hope that changes with the bye week but past history tells me it probably won't. CBers will say it's all about talent or lack thereof. I would like the coaches just to humor me, just once. Can we please get a real nickel defense out there on 3rd and long? Can we stop with the crappy LB blitzes? Can we please get some speed out there and make those QBs feel the heat? Please!
