I think others may be right. Fan support
Across the board is declining. I've talked to so many guys my age in my new ward and I can only find a few big college football fans. Several guys have no tv's and don't even know when games are and have no clue what's really going on in college football. Many people are finding other things to do with their kids on a Saturday. College football games are such a treat for me. I won't be able to attend any games this year for the first time in many years. I can't believe we can't sell out. A real shame that such a large area of LDS Y fans can't sell out 65,000 seats weekly, especially when decent/good teams come. Just the way it's becoming. College football' slower echelon will die. They will not have enough fan support or finances in the future. The P5 conferences are adding to this.
