That had something to do with the BYU defense - and it renders Bronco's

statement inaccurate. BYU has demonstrated an ability to pull away. Against Texas, it moved the ball on offense. Against VA, it struggled. Also, if Texas had done more short passes vs. BYU like VA it would have had more success. The BYU defense virtually gives up passes within seven yards of the line of scrimmage.
