The NFL overtime works perfectly well. You have to remember
that the purpose of overtime is to decide a game in which neither team made enough plays to win.
Both teams got 60 minutes to win it in regulation ... and neither team did. At that point, neither team has anyone to blame but themselves. Win the game in regulation or accept that you might lose on a fluke play and/or coin toss
