That is the ENTIRE point.

By the very nature of the sport, BYU is being judged SUBJECTIVELY. And not only subjectively, but at a HUGE disadvantage, unlike FSU and Oregon. Which means that if BYU doesn't show and make clear that they belong, there is a very real possibility that they will be left out. We don't want that to happen. We don't want for there to be "hell to pay". We want BYU to make a statement, assuming they are good enough. And the fear right now is that they might not be.
