First, Hine started to celebrate a little early, then held himself back. Remember, in college football that celebrating early is a 15 yard unsportsmanlike from the spot of the foul, wipe the TD off the board. Watch the ref to Hine's right. Hard to tell what exactly he was doing with his right arm, but it kind of looks like he thought about tossing a flag right after Hine started to celebrate early, then he held himself back when Hine toned it down till after crossing the goal line.

Second, it's clear why we did get a 15 yard unsportsmanlike after that TD. Mr "Anti-TD Celebration Ref Guy" wasn't back there to keep us from celebrating, and he was ticked about it. How dare we not let him do his one job.
