Perhaps they were back before they both became D1A schools? The link I provided has shown the 12 games referenced all played since 2001. I actually chose in the settings since 1869 but perhaps this guys site has a gap for when two D1AA teams played each other...I know it shows when a D1A plays a D1AA (FBS/FCS) but maybe not when they both are lower division.

Either way - if there was a source provided for that - it only strengthens which one I'd give the advantage to....
