but after the big 35,000 seat expansion in 1982, BYU should have continued every 5-10 years to add between 5,000 and 10,000 seats so today there would be about 80,000 now and there wouldn't be this consternation over "How are we going to fill 15,000 more seats from one year to the next." And we wouldn't have to be alienating many long time loyal fans by jacking up the price of tickets.
These other schools didn't reach their current capacity on one fell swoop 30 years ago. It has been a gradual process.
