Bronco said the low number of plays against Virginia threw off all the offensive
substitution patterns. The offense only ran 60 total plays when they expect to run close to 90 or more. He cited as an example how they had a unit ready to go and then Hine ran the kick back.

I think I read that Jammal carried the ball on 13 of the 25 plays he was in. BYU just scored fairly quickly and then the defense couldn't get off the field. Bronco said it was like the tables had turned with Virginia running all the plays and BYU not getting many.

In the end, after the second TD in the second half, the game was never truly in doubt. They never showed they could effectively keep us from scoring so it worked out. I doubt we will have many games where the offense only runs 60 plays this year.
