I guess I'm too used to watching SEC football, cause I don't see an undue amount
of late hits from BYU. An aggressive, pursuing defense is going to, every now and then, hit somebody late. That doesn't make it dirty.

I gotta say, though, when you're used to patty cake football, like I see in the MWC, I mean MW and the ACC, I can see how a hard hitting defense might seem dirty to you. I probably shouldn't group those two leagues together, as the ACC is merely a step or two below the SEC while the MW is like the JV league. Watching a BSU game usually isn't too bad (though they can and often do play down to the level of their opponent), but trying to watch, say, SJST vs Nevada as a night capper to a Saturday full of football; it's like watching 3 or 4 boys varsity basketball games and then trying to cap it off with a girl's JV game. It's painful.

Anyway, if you're used to soft football, and the ACC certainly plays a softer level of football than other P5 leagues, I can see how watching a hard hitting defense would look dirty to you.
