was bringing religion into it. While I disagreed with the dirty player comment, a dirty player discussion seemed more appropriate on a football chat board than a comment that generalized based on faith. It wasn't egregious - only unnecessary. You may not believe it, but many on the board have been cursed at, insulted, spit on, had things thrown at them, etc. either while serving a mission (or attending an away game against the yewts) primarily because of nothing more than our faith. We have all seen bigotry at its ugliest (not saying that was what your comment was, but it might help explain the overreaction).
I lived in NoVa for five years last decade. I loved it there. Incredible people and incredible place to live. My bro went to UVA law school. I definitely have some UVA fandom in me - not so much for Vtech though.
I too was impressed by our AD - he represents BYU very well.
