that he could put a lot of info in very few pages. He rarely detailed any battle scenes either. So, if a movie of his books were to "get it right", it would take more than one long movie to do it.

So, this last movie will take it's time in the details of political intrigues among the different races and nations. The movie will certainly take battle scenes and prolong those as long as possible.

The othere thing is that movie and book entertainment is just different. If you want the movie to be just like the book, don't be surprised when the movie is longer or split into two movies.
