Perfection is the mortal enemy of good enough.
How often have we seen a guy wide open and the QB tries to lead him too much and overthrows him. Or...whatever it was that happened with Riley and Hoffman at Notre Dame.

Taysom threw it very safe and very catchable...and probably thought since it was Blackmon that would be enough to get him in to the end zone. A 5 star safety, an angle, and a couple of tight hamstrings proved that wrong...but it was still the longest pass play of the year. By any definition...good pass...just not a perfect pass.
