As far as rankings go, there just shouldn't be any yet. There's just not enough data pts yet to say just who is good and who isn't.

I've fought this the last couple of years with people claiming Carolina is over ranked. Like I said, I don't know enough yet this year to say one way or another, but in years past I've asked a simple question: give me somebody ranked below them with a better resume. I usually don't even get a reply.

I don't know that there will be many teams this year capable of beating UGA. However, Carolina did, and that's worth something. ECU just finished tearing the ACC a new one, so what looked like a poor victory has turned into another feather in Carolina's cap. However, like BYU, they've shown there's a lot to improve on. If they don't, they'll finish ranked below where they are right now.
