It was "National Tequila Sunrise Day" on USU campus that day and a lot of the kids were looped before the game even started. I remember the visitor's stands at the time were really close to the BYU bench and there were a lot of drunken USU kids yelling at Jim throughout the game. He would go in, throw a TD pass, run off and immediately start in dogging the USU fans. He would laugh at them and then ask them how many plays he would take to score again. He had them so mad by the end of the first half that most of them got up and left. I remember him waving to some of them as they sulked off. Definitely, one of a kind.
