I was listening to a channel where a couple of guys said something along the lines of, 'it's Saturday and we can talk about lots of things, Ryder Cup, NFL, baseball playoffs, Jeter, HS football or college football. We plan on spending the next 4 hours talking all about college football.' They then proceeded to talk LSU, Texas, A&M, SMU, SEC, the current games that were on and the games later that night. They discussed Chris Peterson at UW, how he'd turned down jobs from UCLA and Oregon, etc.
They were very broadly knowledgable about college football, down to the details of college teams in the East. Dudes in SLC are so shallow knowledge wise.
