Ahh, the dreaded "UW" (unofficial withdrawal)

A couple of times I got down to the last day that I could withdraw the from the class and still get the "W" (withdrawal, which went on your transcript but didn't affect your GPA) -- after that it was the "UW" which was the same as a failed class on your transcript.
