This article explains why it doesn't matter. Also, apparently the NFL is being forced to drop its blackout rule. If you ask me, it's about 30 years obsolete anyway. TV is the reason the NFL is what it is, and the blackout rule is a dinosaur and one of the few things the NFL has been kind of foolish about. It nearly killed the Cardinals in Arizona in the 90s when they sucked and the team had few ways to attract more fans because they were so often not on TV due to the rule.
