my daughter (freshman at the Y) will be firing the cannon down on the field. I told her to get there early because it could happen within minutes after kickoff. At the last game, one of the ROTC kids walked up to her and asked her if she wanted to fire the cannon, this was during the 4th quarter of the Virginia game. She got a sideline pass and went down on the field. Well the Cougs didn't score again so she was asked to do it at the USU game....She gets a sideline pass again and she said she will be on the field an hour before the game, she is excited...
