Universities that still protect the education brand while performing on the field, he'd be fine.
Or...he'd do well at a school coming out of scandal where the mood is to clean things up. As long as he was given enough time to change the culture, he'd do well.
Heck, with the current state of the NFL, I'm not so sure a few teams wouldn't be interested in him there. Social media has changed the dynamic. What was easy to sweep under the rug in the past, is now instantly viral. Bronco is a good leader with a very effective defensive scheme...and there is no question that it would work elsewhere. All it takes is buy in from the Board, the university President, and the AD.
Moot point. He's not going anywhere now. I think he's found his stride and is where he wants to be, but I absolutely think he could succeed elsewhere...probably more in the right place given the athletes he might have to coach.
