the punter call. Bronco and Scott both talked about it last night in the Coaches Show, and Bronco flat out said the ref was wrong. The explanation they gave was that the incoming defender ran into Scott's non-kicking, which was not the case, based on replays. Scott himself said they ran through his kicking leg while it was extended, which is the foundation for roughing the punter.

That was a bad call, straight up.

Officials are going to make mistakes in games, that's just the way it is. What I hate is inconsistent officiating, which we had during the Virginia game. Our guy gets called for unsportsmanlike conduct for standing over their player after a tackle, while their WR jaws with Preator and dances about him after they called a (bogus) PI call on Preator at the end of the game and there's a no call. Gotta keep it consistent.

But meh. Like you said, we won the game. That's what matters
