Because of this I wanted to research streaks with BYU football and then share. I personally believe having some of these things (losing streaks we are unaccustomed to) happen are intensifying angst among fans during a time where they feel winning is the only way to "get in" to a P5. I am more about winning is the only way to get into a NY6/CFP. (Sorry - I'm just not in the camp that believes winning anything has really mattered much with conference re-alignment). Either way winning is very important to us in this current landscape and these trends are painful....
I'm not really providing any qualifiers with this information or trying to draw a conclusion other than the fact that this being Bronco's first losing streak at home and against Go5/MWC teams is a very hard pill to swallow for me (and I'm sure others). Other than that draw your own conclusions. BYU fans like to win and score a lot of points so I provided some minor details for our last 3 coaches...

Current streak has me frustrated for sure as I try to grasp a reason why it is happening. This was an exercise for me to see some history to determine if this is a horrible plague or if it is something BYU can potentially survive and rise up from...unfortunately it didn't sway me either way but the remaining 5 games (plus hopefully bowl) could solidify an answer....
