The "calling out the fans" part is blown way out of proportion.
He thanked the fans that stuck around...that doesn't mean that he's dissing the fans that left.
As far as calling out the players, what do you expect? There were tons of unnecessary errors, but that's what is bound to happen when you have a young team with lots of guys getting their first chance at extensive playing time.
