And the problem isn't criticizing players. Once I heard it, I realize that that's all he did. He kept saying over and over everything that all of the players were doing wrong, and then kept repeating that the coaches were doing everything perfect and nothing is on them. That's pretty sad and it's bull. I didn't hear one thing about preparing them more or teaching them better. It was all stuff about how "well the coaches have been great and the players just aren't doing anything that they're supposed to."
He totally put the whole thing on the players. Of course they've had their issues. But this is where a coach usually says something like "coaches need to step up and help these guys out" or things like that. He put all of the blame on them and praised the coaches. Sorry, but that's pathetic. It kind of seemed like he was really set on making sure everyone knew he's sticking with the coaching.
