If this is the only reason for BYU football to exist, then why bother? It seems like a waste of money. I just like to see BYU as a team. I like it because of the style of play it has had over the years, and the athletes that have participated. Sure it has a lot of Mormons on it, so I can relate more with the team, but tribalism is just as much a part of every other fanbase in college football.
