What bad coaching isn't responsible for:
Every mistake that players have made this year has been blamed on the coaches by some of the supposed BYU fans, and while every mistake MAY have a root in coaching I think that the evidence here suggests that most of the issues are not the result of poor coaching. What is the evidence?

Well the first string players, you know those guys who are considered the best on the team at their positions, they didn't make the same critical mistakes and we won football games. Other players come in with less experience and according to the coaches less talent, and suddenly BYU cannot make it happen.

I understand Bronco' s comment about leaving early. Here is a group of young men that have been told they are not the best on the team but now they are the only option. They have been told that they need to step up and become what they are not, and they know it will be a struggle and that they will mistakes and be embarrassed in front of thousands of people and on national tv because instead of getting to grow in private they now HAVE to grow in public. Instead of getting support they get booed and deserted. While they are refusing to give up and trying to mount a come back the fans are giving up on them and not giving the support they need.

Then when they lose and the players come out like real men and own up to their mistakes we have a group of fans that refuse to listen and want the coaches head on a pike. A group of fans who have forgotten what the coaches did with the first string forgotten that the coaches have almost won with young men who admit they are not ready.

All of you"fans" who are calling for coaches jobs because they aren't miracle workers, who are calling for changes because the current staff cannot do what no other coaches before have done, win out with the second, all of you need a little face time with motor.
