QB (especially in the case of Nevada) with good coaches can't find a way to take advantage of these injuries, then you're kidding yourself.
QB (and heisman candidate)
RBs (not 1, not 2, not 3, but top 4 RBs out)
OL (two starting guards out)
top LB
3 of the starting DB's, with 4th obviously hobbled in the game
various WR
etc
The ESPN announcers compared injury reports from BYU to UNR - Nevada had basically 1 player who started at the beginning of the year out of the game. BYU was missing, what, 12 players from the original 2-deep?
THAT makes an impact. If any of the 3 teams were "bad", then BYU would have still won. But because each was "good", or above average, they were able to take advantage of the carnage.
Losing sucks, and they could have and should have won at least the last 2 games, and maybe all 3, despite the devastating injuries. But make no mistake, these injuries have been and ARE devastating.
