We went deep on a couple plays and ended up in a third and long which we did not convert. Up to that point, the run was killing UNR. Missed FG, then fumble and the next drive and the momentum was gone, POOF !!!

Reminded me of Utah 2008 when BYU refused to stick with the run until it was stopped, opting instead to force the pass.

If BYU sticks to the run and pounds a TD home to start the second half, I don't see BYU losing that game.

Last year, BYU beat UNR by killing them with the running game in the second half. This year, we give it away by inexplicably abandoning it.
