It was hard to enjoy that season because of the 10-52 loss to a mediocre Utah team. And that year we had the fans in a civil war over the Heaps/Nelson issue. No, even finishing in the Top 25 didn't seem so great at the time.

But looking back at it, we haven't even come close to a final ranking since then. We had one year of very good defense in 2012 but bad offense with the injured Riley Nelson. Then last year finishing at 8-5 and a bowl loss. Then this year with 3 losses in a row against teams we should beat, even with the injuries.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's been a long time since we have had a satisfying season. This season won't end well. I suppose there is always next year.
