Offensive play calling breakdown in the second half
We had a 28-13 coming out in the second half. On the first drive of the half we ran 7 plays (1 rush and 6 pass). That one run was for 15 yards. Not including the final two drives (which I did not include because they were all passing plays except for two runs for 20 yards by Stewart), the offense ran 30 total plays with 11 running plays and 19 pass plays. On the 11 running plays we had 72 yards (6.5 yrds/carry).

First drive (missed field goal, three consecutive incomplete passes, passing on first down)
Second drive (offensive PI by Matthews killed the drive, but again the PI was on a pass on first down)
Third Drive (fumble on a play that really needs to be removed from the playbook, the option swing pass)
Fourth Drive (punted and drive stalled on a first down incomplete passing play)
Fifth Drive (first down passing play and fumble on the sack)

All five drives were killed by passing plays (and whatever that lateral pass play is counted as)

The defense was horrible no doubt, but in the first 5 drives we had 11 carries for 72 yards. I really think we win that game, even with our defensive play, if we just play run the ball down their throat.

Nate Carter had 2 carries for 35 yards in the second half. How did he not get the ball more in the second half? When you take his carries out of the game we were still averaging over 4 yards a carry on run plays in the second half.
