I take it you've never filled out a donation slip before.
There's a lot more options than just "tithing" if you want to donate.
Your logic is absurd. In your alternate reality, all of the funds that are derived from companies that are partially or wholly owned by the church, is all just tithing money. I wish that was so, because then the church wouldn't have to pay taxes on that money.
