My Dad was born and raised in SF, his boyhood hero was Willie Mays. Our bedtime stories were from "Say Hey: The Autobiography of Willie Mays."
My first baseball card was a 1986 Donruss Will Clark rookie card. I wanted to have The Natural's swing so badly that I even learned to hit left-handed, though I never did get that swing down.
Now living in MN I don't get back for many games. Last game I attended was this one:
