I sat in (then) PacBell Park while Barry Bonds hit out homerun #599. We were hoping for 600 that night too, but I think he was intentionally walked after that, if I remember correctly.

I also am the proud owner of a very nice Giants jersey-sleeve shirt--retail tag was $135, but I won it at a work event. I like the shirt, but don't like the Giants.

I've been a Dodger fan since I was about 9 years old, so that should explain some of my background. This series, I rooted for the Dodgers (they lost). Then I rooted for St. Louis because my wife is a fan (they lost). I'm torn whether I should root against the Giants, as I always have, or FOR them given the way my rooting has helped teams out this year.
