The key to beating BSU is stopping Ajayi -- both as a runner and a receiver. Adding to his rushing numbers are 35 catches for 317 yards (second most total, third most yardage on the team).
The problem with "sitting back and waiting for Hedrick mistakes" is... they aren't happening at home.
Eight of Hedrick's 10 interceptions were against AFA and Ole Miss.
Other than those two games, he's been pretty solid. He's certainly been more solid than several other QB's BYU's defense has made look like Heisman candidates this season.
BSU's defense is good but not great. I'd expect the offense to perform in the 28-35 point range as they have the past couple weeks.
Unfortunately, unless Hedrick is in one of his giving moods, I don't think 28-35 will be enough points Friday.
