Well, my point is, I have no problem with Bronco declaring a lofty goal even if
he doesn't achieve it every year. The question shouldn't be what is the standard he is setting for himself because I hope he sets higher standards for himself than anyone else, that's good. The question should be whether he has done enough according to accepted standards of performance in his field, relative to others. So if you said, I don't think 70% winning percentage is good enough for X and Y reasons, then that's fine (I don't necessarily agree, but that's fine to have that opinion). What I think is kind of funny, personally, are those who don't like Bronco specifically because of his lofty goals--like it's a problem to have a coach who wants to win 10 games. Seems kind of like we'd want a coach with big goals. I like the big talk and big dreams, and every coach has them, they just don't voice them like Bronco does.
