BYU wasn't committed to the "grind out ground fest" anyway
Coming out of halftime with a 15 point lead (and continuing until Nevada scored to pull ahead), they gave the ball to a RB just 7 times in 29 plays (4 possessions). Lasike and Carter combined for 55 yards on those 7 carries, but BYU still went ahead and dropped back 17 times.
