Watch the video with the two whistle blowers:

Bronco has discussed this issue many times sharing statistics with us. He has pointed out how schools will not recruit a player unless his desire is to get to the NFL, despite of his academic abilities. These schools place the athletes into programs such as the "Paper Classes" to appear to be moving the student-athlete towards graduation. BYU's prospective is to build young men and women, make them better as individuals, and better prepared for their futures. The average NFL career is less than 3 years. After their short careers within ten years statistics show a vast majority of former players are addicted to pain killers, have filed bankruptcy, are divorced, and left to find work based on their education. They have to find a way to survive for approx. another 55 plus years.

(I am not accusing the school up north of the above practice in this communication - although it is interesting how many athletes are found to be ineligible by other schools but somehow get into that school.) I remember a former athlete from the school up north who applied for employment at the corporation in which I was employed at. As I looked at the application this applicant incorrectly spelled his major in college twice (once on the application and once in the cover letter). The cover letter was very difficult to read with incomplete sentences and poor grammar. Needless to say, I did not hire him. However, one of my counter-parts did, who is an alumni of that school. My counter-part ended up letting the athlete go within 90 days as he almost cost him job, after several major blunders.

Now that school is in session, perhaps the academic requirements at BYU are taking players away from the film room. Some posts have stated how players are spending less time in the film room - this could be the reason?
