Outsiders' perspectives
In talking with a few fans of other teams about college football (and they know I'm a BYU fan), the conversation usually turns to BYU. They always tell me how sad it is that we lost our stud QB. They are not surprised that we've lost since the injury and think that makes sense since we lost our best player. They tend to think of it as more bad luck than anything else.

Anyway, I think it's easy for us to see lots of other glaring issues because we look at BYU under a microscope, but it seems that external perception is that Taysom was the key to our team and losing him was a huge blow. I think it's easy to forget how bad the injuries have been on our season.
