They will need to get a booster shot as the Flumist is a "live" vaccine and the
shot is a dead vaccine. Your kid can get the Mist next year. Kudos to you for making sure your kids are immunized against the flu. The World freaks out about the relatively few Ebola deaths yet couldn't care less about the 30,000 flu deaths a year.
