Here's the info:
In conjunction with the upcoming football game between BYU and Boise State University on Friday, October 24th, the BYU football team will be presenting its traditional Fireside the evening before the game on Thursday, October 23rd. This is a great opportunity for our youth and interested friends in the community to hear from some of the BYU football players and Coach Mendenhall.

This year, many of the firesides have featured members of the BYU football team that are not members of the Church sharing their experiences in attending BYU and associating with members of the LDS Church. In addition, the team has started holding an open question and answer session as part of the Fireside. The Fireside is not oriented towards fans of any particular team. Instead, the Fireside focuses on gospel subjects and challenges faced by today's youth and young adults and would be appropriate as a ward youth activity.

The Fireside will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 7:00 pm at the Meridian Idaho East Stake Center, 11443 W. McMillan Road, Boise (between Cloverdale and Five Mile). Doors to the Stake Center will open at 6 pm with seating on a first come basis. We anticipate the Stake Center to be full for this meeting and urge attendees to arrive early.Overflow seating will be available at the Boise North Stake Center, at 8620 Goddard Road in Boise (just west of Capital High School).

For your information, over 3,000 individuals participated in the Fireside in Boise two years ago with approximately 2,000 attending in person and over 1,000 individuals joining via video at several remote stake centers. The 2012 Boise Fireside was the most highly attended fireside ever presented by the BYU football team. We anticipate even larger attendance this year.
